I needed my dad to talk to me more when I was a kid. I wanted to listen. He didn’t know what to say. I didn’t know how to just talk either. All a while, he felt like he was 100% available – he just needed me to ask questions of him. I didn’t feel like I should have to. I hated when he asked me questions.
